Applications to the WSIS Project Prizes 2016 Competition

WSIS 2016
The International Telecommunication Union announced the submission of projects within the next edition of the ‘WSIS Project Prizes 2016’ Competition, in which prizes are granted for the implementation of projects and initiatives implementing the resolutions of the World Summit on the Information Society.


The purpose of this annual prestigious project is to select the best world projects on the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in individual areas of operations of the information society within the implementation of the resolutions of the World Summit on the Information Society.

During the ongoing first stage of the competition, applications of individual projects may be submitted in 18 categories overall until 5th December 2015, until 23:00.

The competition is targeted at a wide range of concerned entities. Further details regarding, among others, the rules of submission of projects and nomination criteria for the WSIS Project Prize, may be found on the project website.
