New Spokesperson of UKE

Martin Stysiak has been appointed as the new spokesperson of the Office of Electronic Communications.


Between 2011-2016 he worked as a journalist of the economy section of Gazeta Wyborcza daily. He was responsible for media market in Poland and in the world as well as for European funds and commercial market. In 2016 he transferred to Corporate and Financial Communications Department of MSLGROUP (Publicis Groupe) PR agency  where he was responsible for PR activities for companies and institutions from media and innovations sectors.

The new UKE spokesperson is a graduate of journalism and political science at the Collegium Civitas in Warsaw. He also completed post-graduate studies on the functioning mechanisms of the Eurozone at the University of Warsaw.

    The President of the Office of Electronic Communications (President of UKE) is the national regulatory authority for the market of telecommunications and postal services. The President of UKE is also the specialised authority in the area of equipment conformity assessment, including telecommunications terminal equipment and radio equipment.

    International activity of the President of UKE consists of, inter alia, cooperation with the European Commission, other EU institutions and Regulatory Authorities of EU Member State. It includes also the cooperation within organizations of which UKE is a member, i.e. the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), the Body for European Regulators of Electronic Communications (BEREC) and the European Committee for Postal Regulation (CERP).
