Announcement of the intention to start consultations on frequency assignments in the 1800 MHz band

The President of UKE has decided to collect initial opinions on the planned way of assigning frequencies in the 1800 MHz band and the content of two draft tender documents presented below.

Financial penalty imposed on PTK

The President of UKE has imposed a penalty of PLN 5 million on PTK for non-fulfilment of its obligation to obtain the PTK telecommunications network subscribers' or end users' consent to using automated calling systems for the purposes of direct marketing.

    The President of the Office of Electronic Communications (President of UKE) is the national regulatory authority for the market of telecommunications and postal services. The President of UKE is also the specialised authority in the area of equipment conformity assessment, including telecommunications terminal equipment and radio equipment.
