Position of the President of UKE on access to regional broadband networks (RBN)

The Position of the President of UKE on the implementation of an obligation to ensure shared use of and access to telecommunications infrastructure or public telecommunications networks rolled out as part of regional broadband networks.

Discussion Paper on the implementation of universal service in the postal sector

On 18 September 2014, the European Regulators Group for Postal Services (ERGP), which is the most important platform for cooperation between national regulatory authorities of the EU and at the same the main tool of the European Commission to effectively transpose the Postal Directive as well as the source of soft law, published a Discussion Paper on the implementation of Universal Service in the postal sector and the effects of recent changes in some countries on the scope of the USO.

Inspection of postal activities

The President of UKE presents the results of postal operators' inspections.

Product market surveillance - summary of the first semester 2014

UKE inspected 1133 products during the first semester of 2014. The highest number of irregularities, i.e. 40%, were found for radio and telecommunications products. The products noted the best results in terms of efficient energy consumption - only 16% of products were not compliant with the requirements of the EcoProject.

Invitation to consultations on the PP14 Youth Policy Document

The President of UKE invites all interested parties to participate in on-line consultations on a document that specifies future approach of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) to youth participation in shaping the information society. Due to the subject of consultations, the youth is particularly invited to engage in this initiative.

The European Commission has published its 2014 Report on the implementation of the EU regulatory framework (also referred to as the "Implementation Report").

    The President of the Office of Electronic Communications (President of UKE) is the national regulatory authority for the market of telecommunications and postal services. The President of UKE is also the specialised authority in the area of equipment conformity assessment, including telecommunications terminal equipment and radio equipment.
