UKE's activities for the benefit of consumers

Over 1.6 million PLN has gone to subscribers - this is how much UKE "recovered" for the consumers in 2015.

 

- It is the right of every citizen to pursue a complaint in disputes with undertakings. The President of the Office of Electronic Communications safeguards the compliance of service providers with conditions of contracts for the provision of telecommunications services concluded with subscribers.  We do this to protect citizens and give entrepreneurs impetus to provide services in a better way - said Magdalena Gaj, the President of UKE.


Activities of the President of UKE for the benefit of consumers

Consumer-oriented policy is one of the most important pillars in the Strategy of the President of the Office of Electronic Communications, who pursues a number of activities for the benefit of consumers. The President of UKE in particular undertakes, on request or ex-officio, interventions in matters related to the functioning of telecommunications services market as well as information and education activities. Moreover, telecommunications entrepreneurs are controlled as regards compliance with the provisions of the Telecommunications Act (TA).
