A list of offers in the contest for MUX-8

Four companies have submitted offers in the contest announced by the President of UKE on 12th March 2015, for one general frequency licence (TV channels with a 7 MHz width) in the 174-230 MHz band used in the radiocommunication broadcasting service, in the whole country, intended for terrestrial digital broadcasting or re-broadcasting of TV programs in multiplex 8 (MUX-8).

 

The following entities submitted their offers within the date stipulated by the contest announcement i.e. by 29th April 2015, 3 p.m. (listed in the order of submission):

1.    Telewizja Polska S.A. with its seat in Warsaw
2.    EmiTelCo. Ltd. with its seat in Warsaw
3.    Polski Operator Telewizyjny Sp. z o.o. with its seat in Warsaw
4.    Time S.A. with its seat in Warsaw

The frequencies covered by the contest are intended for the terrestrial digital broadcasting or re-broadcasting of TV programmes in multiplex 8, hereinafter referred to as ‘MUX-8’, for a period of 15 years from the date of delivering the decision on frequency reservation.
