2011-08-26

On 26 August 2011, the Polish Ministry of Infrastructure concluded an agreement with the Russian Ministry of Telecommunications and Mass Communications on optimal usage of frequencies in the 790-862 MHz range by both countries. The agreement contains technical parameters and administrative procedures for coordinating the frequencies in this range, which enables Poland to use the 800 MHz band (i.e. the digital dividend) for the purposes of new mobile electronic communications systems.
