Investment debate invitation


The President of UKE is organizing a public debate on regulatory aspects of telecommunications investments in broadband access.

The debate is meant to answer the following question: “Is the regulatory / legal protection of telecommunications investments the only way to increase broadband penetration in Poland (including less urbanized areas) and to combat the digital divide?”


The debate will be held 18 June 2008, commencing 10 am, in Warsaw, in Wyższa Szkoła Zarządzania, 3A Siedmiogrodzka St. (the building is situated behind UKE premises).


All interested parties are welcome to register their participation until 13 June 2008, 4 pm at: 022 53 49 211 or


It is requested that speech proposals are made available to the debate organizers till 10 June 2008 at: 022 53 49 211 or

Based on participation registrations, a detailed debate agenda will be drafted.



The debate will be recorded. The speech contents will be published on UKE’s website.
