On 11 July 2014, the President of the Office of Electronic Communications started consultations on the contest for a general exclusive frequency licence in the 174-230 MHz band used by the radiocommunication broadcasting service, in the whole country area, intended for terrestrial digital broadcasting or re-broadcasting of TV programmes in multiplex 8 (MUX8), for the period of 15 years, starting from delivery of a frequency decision.

 



The following documents are subject to this consultation:
  • announcement of a contest for one general exclusive frequency licence (TV channels with 7 MHz bandwidth) in the 174-230 MHz band used in the radiocommunication broadcasting service, in the whole country area, intended for terrestrial digital broadcasting or re-broadcasting of TV programmes in muliplex 8 (MUX8);
  • contest documentation for one general exclusive frequency licence (TV channels with 7 MHz bandwidth) in the 174-230 MHz band used in the radiocommunication broadcasting service, in the whole country area, intended for terrestrial digital broadcasting or re-broadcasting of TV programmes in muliplex 8 (MUX8).
Draft documents subject to public consultation are published as attachments.

The parties interested in expressing their positions on the draft documents subject to this public consultation are requested to submit their positions by 11 August 2014 at the seat of the Office of Electronic Communications in 18/20 Kasprzaka Street in Warsaw, the Main Chancellary, from 8.15 to 16.15, in a written form, marked:

 Stanowisko dotyczące konkursu na rezerwację częstotliwości – multipleks MUX8 (Position on the contest for a general exclusive frequency licence - MUX8)

and electronically to: rezerwacja@uke.gov.pl.

The results of this public consultation will be announced in accordance with the provisions of Article 16 (2) of the Telecommunications Act of 16 July 2004:
  • on a notice board at the seat of the Office of Electronic Communications in 18/20 Kasprzaka Street in Warsaw;
  • on the Public Information Bulletin website of the Office of Electronic Communications (http://www.uke.gov.pl).
