Portal for media supporting Euro 2012

2012-01-09

From 9 January 2012 it is possible to apply for permission to use radio equipment.

From 9 January till 15 March 2012 the media, broadcasters and journalists may apply for permission to use radio equipment during the European Football Championship UEFA EURO 2012 via the www.euro2012.uke.gov.pl portal.

The portal allows maximum facilitation of the application process and accelerates the permission issuing process for the use of radio equipment during the UEFA European Football Championship EURO 2012 and related events. The portal facilitates the selection of free frequency resources and the fulfilment of on-line requests for permission to use radio equipment.

Due to high demand for radio spectrum and limited resources of available frequencies the UEFA partners interested in using radio equipment during the UEFA EURO 2012 are requested to submit applications for permission to use radio equipment until 15 March 2012.

The website created by the Office of Electronic Communications contains information on procedures and rules for granting frequencies for short-term use of radio equipment on the territory of Poland.

Information about the tournament can be found on the UEFA website, in the UEFA EURO 2012 section at: http://www.uefa.com/uefaeuro2012/index.html. We also invite you to visit the web portal dedicated to preparations for the tournament run by PL.2012 http://www.2012.org.pl/pl.html. You will find there information concerning the event coverage.
