The results of quality indicators for the quality of publicly available telecommunications services for the 4th quarter of 2011.
President of UKE presents information on quality (QoS) of publicly available telecommunications services (QoS) included in another report from measurements of quality indicators for the fourth quarter of 2011, conducted with the use of a professional system.
In comparison with the results of studies conducted for the third quarter of 2011, in the fourth quarter the questioned operators obtained worse quality indicators for telephone voice calls within the domestic network. As presented in the research outcome included in the attached report, a significant deterioration is observed within unsuccessful call ratio in the PSTN network in the cases of four (out of seven) operators. From the perspective of the country's telecommunications network, this indicator is impaired in thirteen numeric zones. A parallel phenomenon was observed in the unsuccessful call ratio from PSTN to GSM network.
Minor improvement, in comparison to the third quarter, is observed within the time parameter for telephone calls in the domestic network within all area codes.
The report also presents results of effectiveness measures for fax connections within the domestic network. The outcome, for the third and the fourth quarter of 2011 remains unsatisfying.
