Results of led devices inspection

Summary of the results of the LED devices inspections conducted between 1 January 2014 and 31 December 2015.

 

The President of UKE presents the results of inspections of 341 LED devices, which were held between 1 January 2014 and 31 December 2015:
  •  in 137 cases irregularities requiring further clarification were detected (it constitutes 40% of all the controlled LED products);
  •  in 66 cases, under the conducted explanatory proceedings, the products were tested in the Central Technical Research Laboratory (central laboratory of UKE) with regard to compliance with the essential requirements of the electromagnetic compatibility (48% of cases conducted under explanatory proceedings);
  •  in 55 cases the tests proved that the products did not comply with the essential requirements (it constitutes 84% of products that were subject to laboratory tests).
