UKE presents the areas as agreed and verified in cooperation with mobile network operators.
Referring to a communication addressed to local leaders, mayors and city presidents on location of investment projects to overcome the so-called "white spots" as well as to on-going work in the Office of Electronic Communications, currently at an advanced stage, on eliminating the problem with mobile coverage in Poland, the President of UKE would like to point out that the lists of white spots, i.e. areas in which none of the operators has its coverage, have been initially agreed and verified in cooperation with mobile operators.
The President of UKE would like to thank local self-government authorities and their inhabitants for showing interest in this issue.
The attachment contains an Excel file with the list of localities where it is planned to develop mobile base stations in case of a positive outcome of talks currently held.
The second file contains localities which have not qualified as areas for investment due to the fact that they are covered by at least one operator, or in certain cases, as forestry areas. For each location relevant maps of the four operators have been drafted.
The President of UKE would like to inform all interested parties that currently disqualified areas will be verified by UKE services, and if, as a result of this process, it is found that they qualify as white spots, they will be included in the list.
The annexes are available in Polish.
